Our Story & Leadership
Adult Care Advisors was born from personal experience.
Founder Carol Katz first navigated the challenges of placing a loved one into senior care—an experience that quickly led others to seek her guidance. Recognizing how many families struggle with this process, she set out to provide the clarity and support they need.
In 2009, Carol partnered with her daughter Dina Frauwirth to launch Adult Care Advisors with a simple mission: to offer trusted, expert senior care guidance—completely free of charge.
Carol has long been dedicated to serving her community, including volunteering with the first aid squad and contributing to domestic violence intervention efforts.
Dina brings valuable industry experience from her time as a marketing director at a rehabilitation and nursing facility in New York. As a Certified Senior Advisor, she combines professional expertise with a genuine passion for helping families make informed, confident decisions.
Together, they’ve built a team grounded in empathy, integrity, and personalized support.
