Sub Acute Rehab & Skilled Nursing

It is a tremendous challenge for families to tend to the needs of loved ones who are bedridden, need assistance with all activities of daily living and require around the clock supervision.  Skilled Nursing Facilities, sometimes referred to as Nursing Homes, are able to meet these needs with licensed nurses and aides on staff 24 hours a day.  In addition, Nursing Homes have certified physicians, physical therapists, dieticians and recreational therapists on staff to enrich your loved one’s experience.

Long term Nursing Home care is provided to people needing prolonged (or indefinite) stays.  They are a good option for those who need maximum assistance and continuous care.  Nursing Homes allow multiple medical problems to be addressed by long term care nurses and internists skilled in elder care.  Most Nursing Homes have specialists on staff (ophthalmologists, podiatrists, wound surgeons, dentists and psychiatrists among others) that can visit frequently and see your loved one at their bedside.
If this seems like an overwhelming decision, call Adult Care Advisors and we will hold your hand through the entire process.
